Poker Coordinator
Redline is seeking a Poker Coordinator to oversee Redline Percussion's charitable gaming operations and serve as the primary administrator for all poker fundraising activities. This role is responsible for maintaining Redline's charitable gaming license, securing fundraising event dates, coordinating staffing, preparing event materials, ensuring compliance with Michigan charitable gaming regulations, reconciling event proceeds, and maintaining strong relationships with poker room staff and state regulators.
The Poker Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director, Fundraising Coordinator, Alumni and Volunteer Coordinator, Treasurer, members, alumni, parents, and volunteers to maximize fundraising revenue while ensuring every poker event is professionally managed, fully staffed, financially accurate, and compliant with all applicable regulations.
Summary of Tasks:
Oversee Redline's charitable gaming operations
Secure poker fundraising dates and manage the annual event schedule
Coordinate membership staffing for all poker events
Prepare event packets, startup funds, and required documentation
Serve as Chairperson or ensure a trained Chairperson is assigned for every event
Reconcile event proceeds and coordinate timely deposits
Maintain accurate gaming records and required reporting
Build and maintain positive relationships with poker room management and state officials
Continuously improve poker operations to maximize fundraising revenue

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple scheduled events
High level of integrity when handling cash and confidential financial information
Ability to accurately reconcile financial records and maintain detailed documentation
Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple administrative teams
Comfort using spreadsheets, shared documents, email, Discord, scheduling tools, and financial tracking systems
Ability to maintain professional relationships with poker room staff, volunteers, and government agencies
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by poker event schedules
Access to reliable transportation, phone, computer, email, and internet
