Content Creator
Redline is seeking a Content Creator to capture, produce, and support short-form digital content for Redline’s social media, marketing, recruitment, member experience, and public-facing storytelling. This role helps bring Redline’s season to life through rehearsal clips, behind-the-scenes content, member features, performance moments, trends, interviews, and other engaging media.
The Content Creator works with the Media & Marketing Director to support Redline’s content plans, posting timelines, and storytelling needs throughout the season. The Content Creator supports consistent season coverage by attending at least one full rehearsal weekend per month, or approximately six rehearsal blocks every four weeks, unless otherwise approved or adjusted based on media plans and posting timelines set by the Media & Marketing Director.
Summary of Tasks:
Capture short-form video and social media content at rehearsals, performances, events, auditions, and other Redline activities
Support Redline’s marketing, recruitment, social media, archival, and member-experience needs
Create behind-the-scenes content, rehearsal clips, member features, interviews, trends, and event recaps
Edit and deliver usable content in a timely and organized manner
Coordinate with the Media & Marketing Director on content priorities, posting needs, and campaign goals
Work with photographers and graphic designers to support Redline’s overall media presence
Represent Redline professionally while creating content involving members, staff, volunteers, families, and events
Qualifications/Desired Traits:
Demonstrated commitment to Redline’s mission, values, and organizational success
Experience creating short-form video, social media content, reels, TikToks, interviews, event content, or digital storytelling preferred
Ability to attend at least one full rehearsal weekend per month, or approximately six rehearsal blocks every four weeks, unless otherwise approved or adjusted based on media plans and posting timelines set by the Media & Marketing Director
Ability to capture clear, engaging, and professional content in active rehearsal and performance environments
Strong organization, communication, creativity, reliability, and follow-through skills
Comfort using a phone, camera, editing apps, shared drives, file-sharing tools, and digital communication platforms
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar content platforms preferred
Ability to collaborate with the Media & Marketing Director, media team, admin team, staff, members, and volunteers
Access to appropriate recording equipment, phone, email, computer, and reliable internet
Prior experience in WGI, DCI, marching band, performing arts, social media, video editing, content creation, sports, events, or live-action media preferred
Content portfolio or examples of prior work required
