Ross Taylor

Front Ensemble Manager

Ross Taylor currently holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Michigan State University. While at MSU, Ross studied percussion under Dr. Jon Weber and Professor Gwen Burgett. He was also a member of the MSU Drum-line. Ross marched with NorthCoast Academy for 5 years and was the front ensemble section leader for 3 years and the ensemble leader for 2. He also marched with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps for 4 years and was a drum sergeant during his last year with the corps.

As a teacher and designer, Ross has worked with many groups throughout the mid-west. These include Plymouth Canton Educational Park, Novi HS, Jenison HS, Mount Pleasant HS, Norwell HS, Lake Orion HS, and many others. Ross has also held instructional positions with Redline Percussion and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. Currently, Ross serves as one of the instrumental music directors with the Clarkston Community Schools district. He currently resides in Waterford, MI and is pursuing his master's degree in music education through Central Michigan University.
