Operations Coordinator

Prasanna Alavandi began his marching career as a high schooler in the winter of 2011 with the Plymouth-Canton Indoor Percussion Ensemble where he graduated in 2015.  He has since been involved with Redline Percussion as a member from 2016 till 2019 as a part of the Redline Cymbal Line, as well as serving as cymbal section leader from 2017 to 2019 and battery section leader in the 2019 season. Prasanna has also been fortunate enough to be a member of the Madison Scouts Cymbal Line for the 2017 DCI season. He has also been very lucky to have been an integral part of the world-famous Redline: Rocket Mortgage Edition Drumline in the summer of 2016. In addition to his experience in the marching arts, Prasanna has also instructed the Plymouth Canton Community Schools Percussion Ensemble from 2017 through 2019, as well as the Novi Indoor Percussion in 2018.  Outside of his commitment to the marching arts, Prasanna is eagerly pursuing his Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) at Wayne State University’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where he is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2022.  After graduation, he plans on completing a residency and hopes to one day practice as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. Prasanna is very excited to work in his new role of Operations Coordinator with Redline Percussion for the 2020 season.
