Patrick Gallihugh
Basses
Patrick Gallihugh is a marching percussion educator based in Troy, Michigan. The 2027 season marks his fourth year with Redline but his first as a member of the instructional staff.
As a teacher, Patrick has served as a bass technician for Troy High School for multiple years. Currently he is now the full Drumline Instructor at the same program where he teaches, arranges, and designs for the drumline during the fall season.
As a performer, he has been with many organizations during his time. As a bass drummer he spent a season with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2025), as well as three years with the Michigan State Drumline serving as Bass Section Leader for two of those seasons. His WGI experience includes Ascension Percussion (2023) and three seasons with Redline (2024-2026) serving his final year as Bass Section Leader.
Outside of band Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and works as a Polymer Laboratory Engineer for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn Michigan. With his spare time Patrick also enjoys music, movies, video games, and staying active with swimming and weightlifting.
Patrick is excited to be a part of RL27 and help inspire members the same way he was inspired by staff who instructed him.
