Niki Sitaras
Front Ensemble, Drumset

Niki is a Michigan-based drummer and educator. She has been playing the drums for 17 years and has experience with marching percussion, concert percussion, and drum set. During her time as a performer, Niki performed on quads at Walled Lake Percussion (A Class ensemble), Grand Valley State University marching band, Ascension Percussion, and the Grand Rapids Gold Drumline. She also performed on drum set at Motor City Percussion, Cap City 2 Percussion, River City Rhythm Drum & Bugle Corps, Music City Drum Corps, and Redline Percussion. Niki also played drums in the athletic pep bands at Grand Valley State University and Aquinas College during her time as a student.

Niki has also been teaching in the marching arts for four years. She was a tech at Reeths-Puffer High School, Grandville High School, Rockford High School, and Grandville Independent Percussion, as well as the drumline coordinator at Aquinas College for two years. She is currently a tech for the Walled Lake Marching Band program, as well as Motor City Percussion. She is excited to join the Redline staff this year!

Outside of music, Niki holds a Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley State University. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, long-distance running, attending live music events, enjoying nature, traveling, and spending time with her friends.
