Logan Andersen
Cymbals

Logan Andersen is a former member of Redline and is now a current music teacher at Jefferson High School and North Elementary School, located in southeast Michigan. He teaches elementary general music, beginning band and high school concert band. Teaching music is one of Logan’s passions and he is dedicated to his growth as a music educator. This will be his third year on staff as one of our cymbal techs and fifth year with Redline overall.

In addition to his career in education, Logan has a variety of teaching experience that includes: Eight years as a visual technician for the Jefferson High School marching band, one year of teaching cymbals at Lake Effect Percussion, a semester of student teaching at Shumate Middle School and Carlson High School, several years of teaching private lessons and over eight years of teaching high school band camps such as Jefferson High School, Carlson High School, Monroe High School, West Bloomfield High School, Williamston High School and Summit Academy.

Logan’s experience in the marching arts consists of four years of high school marching band, five years of marching band at Eastern Michigan University, where he served the bands for two years as alto saxophone section leader and two years as drum major, one season of cymbals at Lake Effect Percussion in 2019, one season of cymbals at Motor City Percussion in 2020, and two seasons of cymbals at Redline in 2021 and 2022.
