Katie Hanka
Assistant Director, Board Secretary

Katie has dedicated nearly twenty years to the marching arts as a performer, educator, and designer, and now serves Redline in administrative and marketing roles.

Her early passion for music began with piano and percussion, eventually leading her to perform with both Redline and the Santa Clara Vanguard, as well as on the Detroit Lions entertainment team. As an instructor and clinician, she has worked with scholastic, collegiate, and independent ensembles throughout the Midwest, helping to shape the next generation of performers.

Katie holds a BBA in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University, where she was also a member of the drumline. Beyond her work with Redline, she runs Kadence Films, a freelance media and film production company. She resides in Plymouth, Michigan with her fiancé Cass and their two Westies, Finn and Mac.
