Josh Schneider is an active performer, educator, and arranger based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is currently studying Percussion and Psychology at Indiana-Purdue University, Fort Wayne (IPFW). While at IPFW, Josh has studied percussion with Jason Markzon, Eric Schweikert, and Alison Chorn.
Josh began studying percussion at the age of 12 in Easley, South Carolina. He participated in marching band, winter drumline, and percussion ensemble throughout high school. Josh marched with Legends Drum and Bugle Corps (2010 and 2012) and with NorthCoast Academy (2013-2014).
Since aging out of DCI and WGI, Josh has taught with numerous high school marching band and winter percussion ensembles throughout Northern Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, including: 2 time BOA Class A Champion and Grand Nationals Semi-finalist Norwell High School, Carroll High School (Indiana), Notre Dame Indoor Percussion Ensemble (NDIPE), Legends Winter Percussion, and Legends Drum and Bugle Corps.
In addition to his role at Redline, Josh currently serves as the Front Ensemble Coordinator at Carroll High School, Percussion Arranger at Huntington North High School, Quad Tech at Legends Winter Percussion, and Quad Tech at Legends Drum and Bugle Corps.
Josh is thrilled to join Redline for the 2017 season.
