Joe Harrell

This is Joe’s third year at Redline as a visual technician! Based in Mt. Pleasant, Joe started his marching percussion career at Grand Blanc, where he went on to compete in MCGC (now MAPA), WGI, and DCI. On bass drum, Joe marched with Motor City Percussion (2018), Genesis Indoor(2019, 2020) and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2019). Joe has previously taught at Chippewa Hills Schools, Mt. Pleasant High School as a percussion technician, and at Ascension Percussion as a bass tech, visual caption head, and designer.

Outside of the marching arts, Joe recently obtained his associates in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity from Mid Michigan College. He has also recently obtained his CCST Networking certification, with a goal of obtaining his CCNA. In his free time, Joe likes to gain new skills in computer repair and ethical hacking, hand drums on his chest way too often, and tries his best to beat Elden Ring.

Joe is very excited to continue to be part of the best staff in the activity at Redline for 2027!
