Jackson Maurer
Cymbals
Jackson Maurer is a former member of Redline from canton, MI and currently a Home Renovator located in the West Bloomfield area. With focus on renovating older rundown homes from top to bottom. This will be his first year on staff as one of our cymbal techs and fifth year with redline overall.
In addition to his current career, Jackson works as a visual/cymbal technician primarily with the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park’s Winter Percussion Ensemble for the past 3 seasons. Jackson has also worked with numerous other Winter Percussion Ensembles such as Walled Lake Consolidated Schools and Hudsonville High School. In addition to his teaching experience, he has also been an active private lesson instructor for the past four years.
Jackson’s experience in the marching arts consists of four years of high school marching band playing the trumpet, quads, and bass drum. Jackson was also a member of the Legends Drum and Bugle Core in 2020. Along with marching band, in the WGI circuit he was a member of the Plymouth-Canton Winter Percussion Ensemble for three years on Cymbals where he served 2 seasons as captain. Jackson then went on to perform with redline for four seasons (2021-2024), serving as the cymbal co-section leader in 2022 and cymbal section leader in the 2023 and 2024 season.
Outside of the marching activity Jackson enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking, and dungeons and dragons. He is extremely excited to join the staff for RL26 and is eager to give back to the ensemble that ignited his passion for the marching arts!
