Dustin del Moro
Dustin currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee and is a graduate of Halls High School. Dustin studied interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in Music and English at East Tennessee State University. While at ETSU, Dustin played in many ensembles including the ETSU Wind Ensemble, ETSU Jazz Band, and the ETSU Trumpet Ensemble.
Dustin spent five years marching lead trumpet for Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps (2005-09). Dustin was a member of the University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band in the fall of 2005. Dustin was also a member of the 2010 WGI Percussion Independent World Class Finalist Redline Percussion from Canton, Michigan.
Dustin has taught movement at world class ensembles such as Teal Sound, The Crossmen, Carolina Crown, Madison Scouts, and The Colts.
When not on the road with drum corps, Dustin is a full-time designer, consultant, choreographer and drill writer for numerous marching bands, winter guards and indoor percussion ensembles. These groups include the 2011, 2013 and 2017 WGI Percussion Scholastic A/Open Class finalist Halls Indoor Percussion Ensemble, the 2017 WGI Percussion Scholastic A Spartanburg regional finalist Hardin Valley Academy Indoor Percussion, the 2013 Independent World Class finalist Palmetto Percussion, the 2015 WGI Percussion Scholastic A class Semi-finalist Fort Mill Indoor Percussion Ensemble, West High School Winterguard, Jefferson County Winterguard, and the perennial South Carolina 5A state finalist Clover High School Marching Band.
During the 2017 indoor season, Dustin consulted with the WGI Independent World Finalist Redline Percussion and the WGI Independent Open Finalist Audio Theater.
