Devin Garza

Devin Garza is a Percussion Specialist with a Bachelors in Music Education from The University of Oklahoma. Devin is currently the Percussion director in the Guyer cluster for Denton ISD.

Devin performed with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in the summer of 2012 and was snare section leader in 2014. He placed 4th in DCI I&E in the summer of 2014 with his original snare solo. Devin was part of multiple percussion orchestra ensembles, concert bands, jazz band, and basketball band during his time at the University of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2016. He has been an active performer at PASIC since 2014 when he won the Snare Solo Competition. Devin was also part of the inaugural PAS All-Star ensemble in 2015, directed by Michael Burritt.

He was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps percussion staff from 2015-2016 and was the percussion specialist at Owasso high school from 2017-2021. Devin also worked with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps from 2021-2023, where he served as snare tech and battery tech. Devin is currently the percussion director for Guyer High School in Denton ISD in Denton, TX.
