Front Ensemble Consultant

Chris is a third generation professional musician including both of his parents. He holds a degree in Music Performance from Western Michigan University. After graduation he toured Japan with the Emmy and Tony award winning Broadway musical Blast!. Chris is currently in the states performing with the Kalamazoo Symphony, South Bend Symphony, and the Bellingham Festival Orchestra as Percussion and Timpani. In the past he has performed with such ensembles as Southwest Michigan Symphony, The Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Great Lakes Percussion. Taking years to hone skills in orchestra, battery, and front ensemble Chris takes pride in understanding and tackling all aspects of the percussion world. When not performing his time is devoted to building/ restoring timpani and snare drums for the worlds greatest orchestras at Precision Classic Timpani where he holds the position of Design Engineer and Production Coordinator. In the education world Chris is the Director of percussion at Stevensville Lakeshore (MI). Chris has in the past run, written, and taught for many ensembles in, WGI, BOA, and MCBA. This is Chris' first season with Redline Percussion.
