Andy Wade

Snares

Andy Wade received his bachelors degree in Music Education from Central Michigan University where he studied percussion under Dr. Andrew Spencer. He now teaches private percussion lessons and percussion clinics in the Plymouth-Canton school district and is a freelance musician. He also teaches at Lakeland High School and Huron Valley Percussion where he arranges and designs. He currently works at Legends Drum and Bugle Corps where he is a snare technician. This is Andy’s 2nd season with Redline.

Andy began his marching career at Walled Lake Central High School, where he was a member of Walled Lake Percussion from 2005 to 2009 on snare drum. His WGI experience also includes NorthCoast Academy from 2010-2013, where he was the battery section leader and center snare in 2013. He also marched two summers of Drum Corps International with The Crossmen Drum and Bugle corps in 2011 and Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in 2012.

His teaching experience includes Walled Lake Percussion from 2010 to 2011 and percussion director at Walled Lake Northern High School in 2010. He was snare technician at NorthCoast Academy for the 2014 and 2015 seasons as well as visual instructor for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He worked at Mount Pleasant High School from 2011-2015 where he was percussion director and percussion arranger.

His music arranging and design includes Concord High School in Jackson, Michigan, James Pace High School in Brownsville, Texas, Norwell High School in Norwell, Indiana, Lakeland High School in White Lake, Michigan and Mount Pleasant High School in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
