Falling in love with the marching arts her freshmen year at L'Anse Creuse High School, Amber has since expanded her musical knowledge in a variety of ways. Amber received a musical scholarship to attend Eastern Michigan University where she stayed for 2 years. Both years she participated in the marching band as well as the wind ensembles.
Additionally, during her time at Eastern Michigan, she began her experience with the indoor marching activity. She marched her first year of indoor with Motor City Percussion in '13, moved on to Eastside Fury Percussion in '14, and finished out her final two years with Redline Percussion, taking the role of cymbal section leader in 2016. She also marched one season with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps in 2015.
Amber has taught a variety of Michigan high schools as well as Motor City Percussion. She is excited to return to Redline for a second year as the cymbal tech.
